Born and raised in Oakland, California, Ginny is one of four siblings; with twin brothers, Ron Dirito & Don Dirito and her sister Doris. Ginny attended Holy Names High School and Armstrong Business College in the Bay area.
Ginny has a passion for tennis, which became a family involvement and led to her opening two tennis boutiques in Fullerton, CA.She referred to herself as "Ginny Home-Maker" as she loves cooking and decorating.Her favorite hobby is gardening which is evident to anyone who sees or has ever seen any of her lovely homes.
Ginny met her husband Pete Becker at Sunny Hills Tennis Club in Fullerton 31 years ago.She is the proud mother of four children and 2 step-children (Joe Fogarty, Linda Fogarty, Ken Fogarty, Michael Fogarty, Kelly Bousac and Julie Weingarten) and has 10 grandchildren.She absolutely adores having her children close, with 4 being local desert residents.
When Pete & Ginny moved to the Coachella Valley 30 years ago, she didn't have a clue that one day they would be the proud owners of one of the most prominent real estate agencies in the area, Becker & Becker Realty.In 1984 they opened up in a little office with only six agents in the Palm to Pines Shopping Center, Palm Desert, which was150 agents strong when they sold it in 2004.
It was also in 2004 that Pete retired after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Since then Ginny has been actively involved in her favorite charity, the Alzheimer's Association.
For twenty-five years she worked with her favorite man, Pete Becker, where they built a unique family business, which, as stated above, became a Very Large Family.As commended by their staff, the secret of their success as a family owned company was that they were "A Perfect Melding"…with Pete's marvelous inside management skills and Ginny's top-notch abilities in Marketing and Sales.Ginny is still active in the Real Estate market and her passion for the business is going strong…AND she loves working with her sons, Michael & Joe Fogarty!!!

Ginny's sales and marketing expertise and extraordinary service standards have earned her respect from both her colleagues and her clients.She was one of the first agents in the Desert to present real estate listings on the Real Estate Showcase television program and her closing slogan; "Just..Call Ginny" has made her a household name.
